Assignment 1.1: Basic Forms
Today during class we had a lecture on the basics of tonal values and the different techniques of shading. We then tried out the different techniques in our visual diaries.
During class:
Towards the end of the lesson, we were given a simple assignment of where we had to demonstrate 6 different steps of tonal values using the 4 techniques we we just shown.

Assignment 1.2: Sketching - Live Drawing "Exploring Details"
We also had an assignment where we had to choose to do an extreme close-up drawing of either a watch, a hand holding a pen or shoes.
